Ammonia is 0 nitrate 0 nitrate is needed by my potted plants which i have no idea what. Maybe I try to upload some pics, how can i do that with an android smart phone??You'll find tons of gteat people here to help with anything you have a question with. Are you sure your cycling is complete? Do you test your water?
The plants absorb nitrates right? Does having more plants mean that i can afford more fish cuz more plants can absorb the carbon dioxide??I'm terrible with phone apps and technology so I can't help you there but if you contact any of the moderators, I'm sure they can help. If you have 0 nitrate then your tank might not be fully cycled and possibly in for a spike so be careful please. Its good that you have plants because they help to slow any swings in your water chemistry.
But i just got this one... I'll stick with a betta since it requires 5 gallons only and should be happy in a 10. I got a new plant and a better aieration system to prepare for a new fish. I also added some shells which i have been soaking for a week and the plant to. I think Iam ready for the betta now, bettas are top dwellers so they wont interfere with crayfish anyways. So its fine?Don't worry about the crayfish, he can defend himself. Also your cichlid is probaly as aggressive as a paraise fish, if not more so. Id worry about the cichlid nipping a paradise fishes fins more than id worry about the cichlid. What reallysuggest for you is to get a bigger tank, 29 gallons at least it will be much better for you and your fish. Dimensions I think are 30"x18" and 12" front to back; just enough room to work with!
