i just found this website
and i just started to care for fish
when my friend had fish
what are the basics for fish care/

Understand the aquarium "Cycle"
Dont over stock.
Research your fish BEFORE you purchase them.
Dont over feed your fish, all food should be consumed within 30 seconds.
Maintain good water quality through regular water changes.

To name a few

yeah, i know what fish to get, i love bettas, i might get some danios
and maybe a tetra
my friend has all of these fish so i know what temperature they like, what food they get, etc.
