Hello! I recently received a "used" aquarium from a family member. Did a lot of research on line (this site in particular ). I am keeping it simple.... just one pretty male betta in a 5 gal tank. I am new to writing in forums, so please forgive me if I make a boo boo. Not even sure what to put in "tags". I have a lot of questions, but I think this thread is for introduction only???

I am pretty new here, too (only been here about a month). There are a lot of helpful people here. I'm glad you did your research first...I really didn't on my first try. I had a Betta in a 1 gallon...I was doing weekly water changes. He lasted about two weeks. It was only then that I did my research...poor Betta.
