Got a new tank and a new setup for my cichlid, I bought some nice rocks from Home Depot and chopped them up a bit, I washed them first and all that. They seem to be excreting alot of air... and a lot of small bubbles are coming up in streams, hope this does nothing to the fish. Tell me what you guys think of my setup.

Murky Water

The Water is murkyish from the new gravel I put in, some sort of mixture between dirt, small gravel and sand, supposed to be good for live plants.

I bet that your cichlid is enjoying it more! Now the next step:
Get a larger tank so he isn't so cramped.

Yes, I'm sure it feels more secure with those extra rocks, but the others are right, at that size it should be in a bigger tank. It looks like a 6in fish in a 2ft tank, try a 3ft, or even better, a 4ft tank. Just trying to help, Jim.
