That is incredible! What a remarkable fish. Despite the oddities this seems a beautiful species. In such a small animal it makes me wonder if the transparency is a form of camouflage. If so then why is there so much color on this fish? Perhaps a display, communication in shoaling, or maybe just one of those coincidental flourishes found in evolution. Maybe this fish even evolved from a non-transparent species and is gradually changing its design. Or it could be the other way around. Sorry I am a biology nut. I just find discoveries like this so remarkable. And this fish is just like a tiny jewel. Delicate, lightning quick, mysterious and beautiful.
