I got this tank up and running about 2 weeks before xmas and she just got done cycling so i decided to move my cichlids out of my 55g. Im going to keep the 55g up and running with the pictus cats and a single Chinese algae eater and also use it as a qt tank for the new fish i pick up for the 75g. Im pleased with how it turned out and now i just need to decide on what backround im going to go with. Anyways on to the pix

here are a couple of shots of my newest additions that will be keeping the pictus cats some company for a while in the 55g

Lovely looking tank, and great pictures!! :) I think it would look good with a plain black background - would reallly bring out the colour of the fish..

I also have a 75 Gallon. I have a sprayed on black back ground And it sucks. If i were you i would go with blue it dose a better job at showing the colors of the fish, no offense.... Congrats on the new tank.... It looks realy nice.

Interesting effect there with the half black half white substrate. I think a black background would go nicely with that.
