The Tiger oscar is up about 1"
The Albino is up maybe .5"
The Jack Dempsey is up .5" And is not shy anymore.
The firemouths are growing slowly, but their color is coming out ALOT.
The salvinis - spellcheck are very very colorful.
Shortly after this picture, I had to get rid of the salvini's and the fire mouths. The jack dempsey turned out to be a bully. I came home and 2 fire mouths were dead, my tiger oscar had several injuries to its side and the salvini's were not acting normal. So I checked all of the levels and everything was spot on. So I sat in a chair in the corner and the Jack was trying to fight everyone and went after the Tiger oscar again. SO....since im partial to the Oscar's I went ahead and cleared the tank, I traded the jack, the salvini's and the rest of the fire mouths in for 2 severums and a store credit.
Up until mid feb, 09' I had both of the oscar's and the severums and they got HUGE. I had a friend that was looking to stock his tank that he had in storage and I wanted to swap to african cichlids . So I gave him the oscars, and took the severums to the fire station and put them in the tank there.
Last week I went all out cleaning all of my equipment, moving the tank into a new room (office), buying new gravel, lace rock, another t-5 light ( Have 2 now) and some other stuff. Plus new fish.
