So, a few weeks after bringing up the catfish herd to 4, (and adding 6 Kuhli loaches), they are all doing fine, and it is very difficult to tell three of them apart. Stumpy is easy to identify; I don't expect his fins to ever grow back, but he is doing great. All four have vibrant blue/green sides. My bronze cats before were not iridescent like these. It may be because I started giving them boiled vegetables like broccoli and yellow squash. They swarm over veggies now when it appears. Aside from feeding times, they swim constantly, and even make the run through the bubble stream now and then.
The Kuhlis seem to be pairing off, and I'm seeing healthy growth, swimming around on the bottom, resting comfortably in a spot of open sand, or in the leaves, and one pair likes the sunken ship.
Oh, and I spotted a couple baby swordtail fry a couple days ago, and then again the next day, but they may have not been quick enough.
