Daron got Ick and Velvet from a plant from a pet shop. The plant had snails. While I heard that some Bettas like snails, I heard that some aquarium owners really hate them. What's your opinion on this? Btw Daron tried to eat one of the snails :)) oh, youu...
About the parasites, I heated the water to 30 degrees Celsius and put TetraMedica GoldMed. It says it's for gold fish and other ornamental fish: for white spots, external parasites, fin rot and wounds.
Someone told me to change the water every day. I will sterilize the net boiling it before and after I cup him. Will I need to cup him in a different cup every single time? Plase, tell me more about the sterilization. Can I do it with 90% alcohol? I'll move him to a smaller tank. Will the big tank be ok after my Betta is healthy? How am I going to keep it, without any water in it? Can I put decorations from the old tank in the new tank?
I saw a medicine from Tetra, special for Ick. Do you think that I should have bought that instead of the medicine for Goldfish? I could buy it if it's necessary. And once again: what should I do with the decorations, the big aquaium and the plant?

Next time, try to only make one thread about your issue please. It makes it difficult for us who are trying to help you.

As I said on the other thread, your fish looks healthy, why do you think he has Ich and Velvet?

I think that he has Ick because I see white spots on him and, when a flash light is on, I can see gold dust, too (Velvet). It might be a mild form, since the white spots are not really visible. Only the white dot on top of the ventral fin can be seen in this photo.
