Stumbled upon this beautiful boy on AquaBid last night (I had been interested in starting up a planted 5 gallon betta tank for a a month or so now). Bought him this morning. Has to be the most beautiful betta I have ever laid my eyes on. (All a matter of opinion of course).

Still currently working on my 55 gallon, which is doing wonderfully, still have 4 little rasbora fry in the QT tank. Getting big actually. Waiting on adding my second group of fish into QT for the 55. Can't think of a better side project than this =D.

Will post pics of the tanks progress.

Just had to share!!

The seller on AquaBid has excellent reviews so I'm not too concerned. He'll be in his tank solo so there's no risk harming any other fish. I'll keep a close eye on him of course =)

Just thought I would put up a pic of the tank I threw together for the little beauty.

Just scrambled some plants together from my big tanks. Still waiting on my preferred plants to come in. Quite happy with it actually =D

Nice! Looks very good for "scrambled" together.
Thanks a bunch!!

>,< well scrambled for my standards. I usually spend WEEKS planning out what plants and what not. This was random stuff from my 55 and random plants from my LFS.

The betta friend (Now named Jasper) came last Wednesday. He seems super happy in his new home. Sadly it looks like he did some fin nipping damage to his tail in the shipping process. On a good note, it looks like the damage is doing well, and healing fine. Doing multiple water changes to avoid any infection.

=) Made his first bubble today.
