So now that I have finally begun to add new fish and am really getting the hang of this fish keeping thing, I figured I would just start a single thread to post my updates to. I'll quickly outline what it is I am doing. I have a 29 gallon tank (for now) that is setup as a South American blackwater community. I have 7 neon tetras in right now and a striped raphael that I just picked up today is acclimating to my 10 gallon quarantine as we speak. Now I know raphael's get too big for a 29g, but once march or april roll around I will be using some of my tax returns to upgrade to a larger tank (my goal is 75g+, but we will see :-D) Not to mention the little raphael is only about 2-2.5 inches right now (barely bigger than my biggest neon). I also just added some seachem root tabs to both tanks to help my swords out. Anyway here are some pictures (for those who have seen them in another spread, sorry about that. Just trying to get everything to one place)
