I was selling my 55 gallon tank, stand, lights, and some decor. Unfortunately, the guy that was originally going to buy it, really just wanted the tank and stand. I wanted to get rid of everything for it, since I had no room for it. I found out the guy had some discus. I plan to add more discus in the future, but money was going to be a concern, so I thought it over and discussed it with him about trading my tank, stand, and stuff for some of his discus. He also thought it was a good idea and mentioned trading me about 5 discus, although I really just asked for 4. They are actually adult discus, assuming about 6"-7" in size, since they are about 3-4 years old. They are Marlboro Reds (Watley straing) are supposed to be nice strain. Hopefully we'll finalize everything soon. I did some research and found pics of Marlboro reds...
Kind of excited. I hope he does agree. If they spawn, I plan to just give some of the new babies to another discus breeder in trade for fish food. I found his beefheart a little better, since it hold in, due to the jello gelatine used with the mix.
