there is no such thing as over filtration, the only problem with this high filtration is the whirlpool effect which pumps water so fast that the fish are constantly whirled around in a whirlpool. If you are going to have a high water pump get river fish that like a high current. IMO go for the filter, it will do you good

danios love a fast current, as well as most catfish (with few exceptions). If your type of fish comes from a river generally it likes fast current, if it comes from a lake it will like a slower current
