Ok, i got 30lbs of live rock. it will be going into the 55g+ seahorse tank.

but i have questions for most of the pictures.

Here is just some pics of it:

here is some good healthy looking green algae:

is these red things like red corraline algae or something?

what is this colony type thing?

do these look like a bunch of real small tubeworms? (most of them are most likely dead probably)

here is one with a big thing of sponge. i have alot of small sponges, but this one is big.

whats this?

*this is the MOST importent question of them all. WTH is these two bubbles?

are they some type of egg sack? some plant, soft coral?

thanks to all that help with questions!

it was cured rock when i bought it. and i cured it for a bit to, but only like a week.

all of this has started to grow in the cooler (not cold water) since i'ved had it.

hardly any of the sponges were there when i bought the rock.

everything just started growing in the cooler. i'm kinda glad, cause it kinda means that the water and the cooler there in is kind of 'matured'.

so the sponge is really gonna die from a minute of air? that sucks....

still have many questions, so if anyone reads this and knows anything about the questions, please help!

They do very bad in air, a minute could mean life or death for them, if you want to try it place them in and try to get rid of all air near and on it but it might die and if it does die, it will polute the water

so when you have them in the curing tank with a powerhead after 3 days, low lighting and everything else, what is your ammonia and nitrate level. both need to be zero before you enter them in the tank or else you will just be doing water changes like crazy, trust me, i was rammy and i paid the price, 6 water changes in a 150 gallon tank later and i was good to go.

i bought them cured and then they were in a dark container and i did alot of water changes also (for the decaying smell and stuff in water). everyone there has grown since i got it. i didn't really mesure anything in the water in the cooler... and it will probably be in the cooler for a while more until i get the tank and salt and substrate and all of that.

if anyone can help with the other questions please do.
