they behave more like guppies than platys in fact there easy to mistake for guppies if it wasnt for the black bars down the body that are present in even newborns they are hardier than most livebearers probably due to the fact they havent been selectively bred and retain there wild form i would put them under a beginers fish for that reson the only problem ive had is the proportion of males to females must be 3 f to 1 m or they pester them constantly resulting in the females hiding i say there an overlooked fish as i bought mine months ago from a store which has stopped selling them and ive never since seen them sold anywere
