She hasnt moved in 2 days. She doesnt stink but her trapdoor doesnt cover her all the way. I camt tell if she retracts when i mess with her trapdoor. Its weird.... I wanted her to have baby snails
Mine will sleep for days. I find this very odd, don't know why.... I just do. Fish sleep at night so why not a snail. I would say YES that it is exhausting mating. Just keep checking on it to make sure that it doesn't smell or is missing from it's shell. Good Luck.
My snail did the same thing for a while but one night I noticed that after I turned the lights out he would come out and roam around the tank. The next morning I found him in the same spot all day long she might just be sleeping during the day and active at night it took my snail months to finally swtich his days and nights.
She was dead..... Very very dead. Have no idea what went wrong. Water params r fine amd the 2 other snails and 15 fish in the 75 gallon tank r all fine. She just.... Died poor sue bob snail.
i think mine already mated i was finding tons of snails everywhere but i dont know if they came from plants or not. they kept getting stuck on the filter
It really is i didnt know how attached to all my fish i would be. Even the 4 survivor platys have grown on me, although i havent named them. Those platys and the 10 tetras are the only pets i have without a name. Well those and the feeder ramshorn snails for mikey and harold but i dont count them as pets. They r food
Sooo sorry about your lost. Well, now I have to find me some Golden apple snails, so to everyone out their who has some extra babies or adult, PM me please!!!!!:-D
