Large growth in frontosa's mouth.

A customer snapped this picture of his frontosa and her unusual growth. I am awaiting specs on his tank and some info about the fish.

In general, what could cause a huge growth like that in the mouth? He thinks it might be parasitic.

Any thouguhts?

That looks like a tumor, but I will wait to see water test results before I go into any details. I will be taking this pic to cross reference with some medical text books I own, and consulting my husband who is an aquatic biologist and who's specialty is in health issues.
