L144 (blue-eye) Bristlenose/Bushynose Plecos
Pictures of the L144 “dad” and fry for sale below.
Fry available in VERY limited numbers (both long-fin and short fin).
ADULTS ARE NOT FOR SALE

Bristlenose plecos are considered the most “planted-tank friendly” plecostomus, maxing out at about 4” in body size and they live up to 14 years! The L144’s are technically amelanistic, not “albino”, since they have blue eyes. They are also known as the black-eye Bristlenose since you can really see their pupils! A beautiful fish, these fish come from great stock and adult long-fins have tails that are over ½ the total body length. The long fin L144’s are very tough to find!

L144 BN Pricing:
Long-fin fry (3/4"-1.5" size)
$15/ea for long fin fry (VERY limited number of these)
$5/ea for short fin fry

Parents are long-fin. I’m happy to mix, just let me know what you want. Priced as above, plus shipping. PayPal only please. Please send me a PM with specific purchase requests, post any other questions here.

Shipping and packing: Shipping is $15 for up to 10 fish. Fish ship in an insulated box. Orders of 1-4 fish may ship in smaller boxes and if I can ship for less, I’ll refund a portion of the shipping cost. Shipping for larger orders will vary by zip code. I’ll send you a tracking number when the box ships. Shipment is via USPS Priority mail with the tracking number PM’d to you. Overnight shipping is available for $40 (or the actual cost, if higher to your location). Unless you ship overnight, live arrival can’t be absolutely guaranteed, but I’ll do my best to work with you.

Quick question. How do they get along with other fish? I was debating getting a pair of cockatoo dwarf cichlid at some point (a ways down the road though) and heard that plecos will eat fish eggs/fry. I doubt I'll ever breed...just thinking everything through. I have neon and longfin black tetra's right now.

I've had my BN plecos in with Afican cichlids (only short fin BNs in that tank!), cichlid fry, white clouds, angels, corys and Australian Rainbows. Only time I ever had an issue was when I mixed them with RCS - they definitely ate the baby shrimp. They never seemed to bother the eggs of the other fish, but I don't know if they potentially would. They could eat eggs, like just about any fish, and are not pure vegetarians. I keep mine pretty well-fed which might reduce the any egg-eating.

UPDATE: another batch is finally old enough to ship. I won't ship until AFTER CHRISTMAS to avoid shipping delays.

Priced as noted in first post (see winter shipping update below).

Shipping and packing: Shipping is $17 for up to 10 fish. Fish ship in an insulated box and includes a 72 hour heat pack. Shipping for larger orders will vary by zip code. I’ll send you a tracking number when the box ships. Shipment is via USPS Priority mail with the tracking number PM’d to you. Overnight shipping is available for $40 (or the actual cost, if higher to your location). Got just a few LF available that are shipping size, another batch of fry growing out for late spring/summer shipping. I have two long-fin adult males (a little over a year old), $45ea. Look just like "dad".
SF prices will be going up just a bit, depending on how many I have in the new batch.

Please note - I will NOT ship any fish until mid to late March due to the weather! Too risky to the fish.

FYI - Max number of fish in a single box is 8, depending on fry size. Shipping prices have changed in 2016 due to USPS rate increases. Fish price remains the same.
I also have a few "chocolate" long and short fin BN's available from time-to-time.

Sorry, I don't have any current good pictures I'll try to take some, but my fish photography is not good!
