Pleco destroyed most of my plants

Hi just to let you know I had an L-200 Green Phantom pleco that ate all my swords, crypts, and even my anubias. I had to give him to a friend who has no plants. I really miss that fish because he was incredibly beautiful... Does anyone know if all L-200's eat aquarium plants?

All L200's that I've ever known will feast on plants if given a chance.
