Ok I've decided to put my tank on here... first time so here i go.

Started in 2003 and it was mainly a fish only tank. i don't have any pics of that because my computer quite on me so i'm using my wifes for now. 2007 i had a 25g full of my 55g that i had to take down due to many moves .

Then at the beginning of this year i decided to start adding my new stuff...(this was after i moved the tank to my wifes apt before we got married this Oct. :-D)

The tomato chased my poor girl good one day, and my bigger false perc died. and still added more.

I can't seem to find the lawn mower blenny pic, but i had one.

Oh and many many snails

Hiered some help

Finally July had some around (or june can't really remember) and it was time for the 55g
Cycled and pulled live rock from 25g and stacked and moved clown to 55g and got it a friend

I then lost my blenny and my yellowhead jawfish(he's fast so i used the flash to get a good shot)

Corals were doing great

Zoanthids were moving quite nicely

Time has gone by and my Gargonians suffered some red slime and then i got that taken care of with chemi-clean and then it started dieing for some reason. cut off what's alive and re-mounted the new frags

Then something happened to my tank and it almost cost me all my softies

I am having issues with my alk right now it's just at 8dkh and i'm using a buffer to safely pull it back up. it was at 7 before, i don't know if you can see it, but on the right of my birdsnest it bleached because of it.

Thankfully nothing else is suffering because of it. i guess that's what i get for being too lax with my testing.

Wow, you have a large collection there! Nice setup and I think you're doing a good job with all of it.

I've always wanted to start a Saltwater aquarium, but I lack the funds xD.

The hard part is getting the start up, my tank set up (stand, canopy, tank, lights) all came out to about $300 because of the great deals i found from my local club. Thank you very much and i'm going to try to get more pics up weekly or when i have a change.

i didnt read through so much, but i skimmed pictures and it looks great!

are you using a sump? and what skimmer?
I don't have a sump yet, i plan on building it out of acrylic or perhaps just using a 20g long? idk, but the skimmer for now is a skelter, i'm wanting a euro reef, but we'll see what the funds and the wife will allow.

looking great.

id get that gorgonian into more flow to prevent algae growth.

and the GSP, IMO should be isolated. i personally keep mine on the sandbed away from rocks. it will grow like a forest fire and you will have a hell of a time trying to remove it from any rock it consumes.

keep the pictures rolling.
