I'm so excited. Someone sniped me on an auction for tiger endlers in the last two seconds of the auction, and I was really depressed. I'd waited so eagerly for that auction, and this was the second one I lost out on, same seller. I figured it must be meant to be, and went on with my day. An hour later I get an email for an ebay second chance! I couldn't believe it. The people couldn't come up with the money, I guess, so I'm getting them after all! They are shipping them tomorrow, and I should have them in 3-4 days (I'm rural and it always takes longer). It's going to be 88 tomorrow, and it just gets hotter after that, so I got them just in time. I sure hope they arrive safely. The lady has 100% positive feedback, and is wonderful and very helpful.

Finally got your tigers, eh? Good luck. I hope you didn't get them from the same person I did. ^^; They were thin and looked inbred. Pretty colors, but their chests stuck out a bit leading me to believe they had messed up spines, and three had a parasite. So be sure you QT them for at least a month! =) I hope you have some good luck. They're very nice fish if you get them healthy.

I'm getting both males and females. Two-three pairs and the rest fry. Yes, Sylverclaws, I saw the chance and grabbed it. I do still plan on buying a few of yours too, when you starting breeding yours. I'll post pics when I get them. Now you have me worried. Was this person located in Washington, that you got yours from?

I don't think you have to worry, the one I got them from only had males and they were called "Rare Strain Yellow-Jacket Tiger Endlers" on ebay. You can tell from photos, but being new to endlers I didn't know to look for that until another member on here somewhere was talking about anothers who ha the chest sticking out.

Basically just be safe with any fish you get, no matter where. Have a nice QT ready, and try to have some antiparasitics, antifungals and antibiotics just in case as it never hurts to be prepared. Sometimes they look great only to have something kick in during the stressful shipping period. I've had good luck ordering online, just not from that one. lol I believe they were in Michigan. One of the M states. lol

I'm glad it's not the same seller, WHEW! I did see some in Montana that I *almost* ordered from. Now I'm glad I didn't. Anyway, the ebay post didn't read anything like what you said the "bad" one did.

I do have a QT tank, and anti parasite med (Paragard) as well as several antibiotics. (Furan, Kanaplex, and both Maracyns). Like you, I've also had fish get sick and die within days or two weeks, and they looked fine when I got them, so this really makes me nervous. PLUS, it was 88 degrees today, and these fish have to travel over 1,000 miles, and I'm rural. It's supposed to get hotter later in the week, so that's a big concern for me. It might take 4 days for them to get here from Montana, as I'm rural. Here is part of what the ad said.

These are a beautiful gold and black metallic endler (wild type guppy). This are one of the types of fish used to create metallic guppies such as the Mang SuperCross and Steel Nebula guppies. Younger males have a silver color that turns golden as the mature.

The only thing I don't have is an anti-fungal. Which one do you use?
