Hi, I'm new to the forum, so I'm not sure if I'm asking this in the right place, but I wanted to know if anyone knows what (if anything) is wrong with this fish. I noticed this white "lump" or spot INSIDE the fish ( you can see through its skin and this spot is clearly not on the outside of the fish) that is not present on any of the other fish.
It doesn't seem to be swimming or acting weird, and it eats normally.
This is in a 17 gallon planted tank. The tank is about 5 months old, and the rummynoses have been in there for about 5 weeks. The water parameters are good, 0ppm ammonia and nitrite, and about 5ppm nitrate. The tank has great filtration and flow and I'm running pressurized CO2 for the plants, but none of the fish (rummynose and cardinals + 2 otos) have shown any sensitivity (gasping, lethargy etc) so I believe I've got that dialed in OK.
I feed the fish a small amount of TetraMin flake crushed up once per day.
Sorry for the picture quality, I had to catch the little guy in a glass to get a good enough picture.
So what's the deal? Does this fish have a tumor? Parasite? is it just constipated?
Has anyone seen their fish like this before?
Thanks for any advice!
