Hi rex.

You could try the onion plant(Crinum thaianum) and/or Java fern(Microsorum pteropus)

The onion plant is very tough.

Hope you get some thing they don't eat.

Crinum calamistratum? There's no profile here but's there's info out there.
cool thanks! ill check those out. i have java fern they do leave that alone.
Crinum calamistratum is a high light plant :( looks awesome tho. im only using 2 t8 6500k bulbs on a 55 gallon. im going to try adding 2 more 24in light fixtures to see if that extra light will help things grow. should be 2 wpg. that enough for onion plants?
Your current lighting is more than enough for a 55 gallon , no need to increase. Another plant to try are anubias , doubt those would be eaten.

I was going to ask about your lighting...

I have 2 and @ 2wpg they are doing fine.
sounds good! ill try the anubis and some onions and maybe some crypts. my plants just seem to be growing so slowly. so being at 1.45 wpg sound be fine then? i feel thats low but nothings dying. so i guess ill keep it at that.
