Thanks, but what I was trying to say is that I need a chart for KH and GH to know if the level of my KH or GH is not harmful to my fish I want the readings to be in dh.

KH is the measure of alkalinity (not to be confused with alkaline) and is the buffering capacity of the water, ie the ability of the water to avoid swings in pH. As such there is no direct link to fish requirements but it is directly linked to the pH for which different species of fish have different requirements.

For GH
Soft 0° - 4°
Moderate 4° - 8°
Hard 8° - 16°
Very Hard > 16°
Again, different species of fish have different requirements as to GH.
