so i have two goldfish and one comet and the other common and the comet goldfish is a female and i looked at her ealier and i belive she may be getting pregnanant either than or she is being a fatty but the male has been pecking at her a lot so i think they are getting ready to breed if they haven't already but anywho when the eggs are laid and hatched i would like to to know how to maintain a water change without killing the babies i know i have to remove the parents once the eggs are laid and set them into another tank one said they would be fine with the betta problem with that the betta is bigger than them,a male and i'm not gonna risk them together with him but i would like to know how to go about with the fish babies once the parents release the eggs and have hatched and how should i maintain the water changes with the babies in there

Be really careful with water changes and fry/eggs. While they're still really little, I wouldn't change the water, at least that is what I did. Unless the water is incredibly dirty then avoid changing it while they are small. When you do change it though be sure that the water temp and pH and all that is the same as before, otherwise your fry might not acclimate to the change and could die.
