That sorta seems like a little bit of a morbid question, i know.
I've got a tank that i'm going to take down and it's currently got a ton of snails in it, which is part of the reason it's going byebye, to rid the infestation of snails.
Can a snail drown if it's unable to reach the surface for air? I just had the thought earlier of if i kept them from getting up to the surface, they would drown. I have acouple pieces of plexiglass that fit quite nicely with a little bit of work would sit on the water or be pushed down slightly to remove the ability for anything under to get past. If I were to try that and let's say i got it to work perfectly so that there's no air pockets at all, how long would you say it would take for them to drown?
Just a thought i had that i thought i would ask about lol
