Guppies are my favourite freshwater fish. I have a 12 gallon tank, and I want to fill it with as many guppies as possible ((without crowding them, of course)).
Problem is, I heard that as long as there is at least one male and at least one female, they'll breed. I don't want to breed them, though. I thought of just keeping all females, but I heard that most females are already pregnant. And I thought of keeping all males, but I heard they will fight alot.
So, basically, my question is, can I get guppies without them breeding, how, and how many could I get?
Thanks!
