I have seen videos of these fish with small community fish like neon tetra's.
I have searched this before but I can't find any info about it.:-?

GBR's are pretty peaceful as well, you can house them with other community peaceful fish with no ill effect, although they can get aggressive when they have no place to call 'home' (IE hiding places). But in general, they are non-aggressive and will play nice with peaceful tank mates, housing them with any aggressive fish is cruel as they will not defend themselves adequately. I would also advise against housing them with a large number of shoaling/hyperactive fish as well.Hey. . . Sweater (nice SN) Welcome to TFK!
I keep Bolivian Rams, and I ADORE them. They can be snarky amongst themselves, but in my experience they pretty much ignore other tankmates unless they're spawning. I've kept mine with a shoal of JellyBean Tetra, and a couple of types of Pangio loach for some time now - and three attempted spawnings - with no issues. I have never kept German Blue Rams, though. Hope this helps?
