I'm not sure if I'm the only one who goes through this problem, but every morning, when I turn on the tank lights, before I feed them, I always check to see if everybody is still alive. Well, every now and then, like once in a blue moon, somehow I have this one fish that just disappears, and with the live plants I have now, I have to brush through them and look under decorations to find a corpse, only to find nothing, and yet probably a moment or two later, there they are, alive and well. Makes me wonder if it's my eyes playing tricks on me or the fish is that good in hiding.
Right now the fish I'm looking for is a Rainbow Platy and I'm hoping I don't find his corpse tangled in a plant or what's left of him after the shrimp got to him.

what type of fish r in the tank? platy and shrimp and anything else? the other fish n shrimp mayb just scavenging on the corpse and it's gone before u notice it is missin sadly. My gf's mom has guppies and a few other fish and that happens to her sometimes. only reason she knows is she has a random few bones from a fish/ backbone ect layin around

Oh I found the fish, and it's alive, barely. For some reason, it seems to be swimming on it's side and doing a twig impression, yet it still swims and eats okay. I put in some fungus medication into the tank, which is suppose to be safe for both fish and the inverts I have in there, which are ghost shrimp and nerite snails. The other fish are a Bolivian Ram, Glowlight Tetras, two Blue Platys and a few baby platies I need to start looking into finding homes for now that they are almost adult size, and making sure they don't add more babies into the tank.
