I have not checked my pH since the start of my aquariums, which was about 2 months ago. It was very high. I remember I had to use the "high-range" test to get the correct reading. I expected it with my town water, so there was no surprise.

I'm just curious. I've cycled 3 tanks, and have not had one fatality yet in any tank. I'd rather not fix it if it isn't broken, you know?

Do I just have just the right fish, do I have the "right touch", or maybe it's a combination of both?

What is your pH?

I'm not sure at this point. Wait a minute, let me test it...... Ok, it's 8.0 pretty high.

That's what it was when I first set up my tanks. Like I said, no fatalities. All my fish seem happy and healthy, so I planned on leaving it alone, but I wanted to hear what everyone thought here.
