Your tank looks really nice and you're probably good with cover for the fry. Maybe a bunch (several stems) of floating plants would help.
Well, you're probably OK as is. I am currently over run with platy babies and I would say I have about the same amount of cover as you. Just concerned that you wanted to save as many as possible. I have not moved anybody and the survival rate has been great. Thanks Fish monger I do have java moss floating on top of the plastic plant behind the mayaca (I know, plastic plant yuk, but it's coming in handy!!).. I was a bit worried about covering the live plants too much because of the risk of lack of light... It's a bit hard to see, but there's quite a bit of java moss there.. If more floating plants are needed, guess where I'm going this weekend? :-D
