Hi!
I'm new to this forum! I've had 3 years of fish keeping experience, not including the goldfish I had when I was about 7
A little bit about the fish I've had so far:
My first fish was a crowntail betta named King. He died when he was almost two years old from Dropsy.
My second fish was a female betta, named Thayet. I decided one day that my three and a half gallon tank was big enough for three female bettas, oops...
So I added Aphrodite, and Zoey. Thayet died soon after of columnaris. Aphrodite died later of a really bad case of ich. Zoey disappeared last June, and I still haven't found her...
After King died I got a new male crowntail. Jack. He died of parasites, only a week or two after Zoey disappeared. Then I decided to take a break from fish, that lasted a week.
I was going to be getting a 55 gallon (which I was supposed to get in May, and didn't get until OCTOBER!), so I ended up with 8 platys, and a small Striped Rubbernose (L444) Pleco in a 6.6 gallon tank. Then the people who were going to give me the 55 gallon gave me a 5" golden gourami... He went in the 6.6 too. I also had two guppies in my 3.5 gallon. Finally (December) I finished the cycle and added my fish!
Then 8 more guppies, later. Recently I've had some kind of problem, I'm not sure what, and all but 4 platys, and 2 guppies have died. So now I'm restarting this tank, and making it a South American Biotope!
I also currently have a male delta betta. He's black, and blue. His name is Damien Shadowe.
Well, I guess that's enough for now
