I just got my first fish (a half-moon betta) yesterday and since then I've been doing a ton of research about care and such. Hopefully here I can ask any questions I might have and eventually be able to give advice of my own. I just have the one fish right now, but in the future I'm hoping to get a bigger tank and a whole array of fish for it, so I'm kinda building up to that. My only other experience with this is when I had a goldfish a while back, so I still have a lot to learn. So yeah, hi everyone.

Oh my gosh, the fish addiction is already pretty well established after just a little over 24 hours. Reading all about these different environments and fish and equipment and stuff is so cool and I'm going to start counting down the days until I can get a bigger tank and make this a hobby. I'm really liking this forum so far!
