hi
i had Land Hermit crabs years ago,and they only have a little bit of
water as they could drown.I did however use to put them in a small bowl
of water that would be a little deeper than there water bowl,
as it helped to rinse them out.
sorry i can't remember the anatomy of the crabs,but it did help them
usually befor they burried themselves in the sand
to shed their skin.
