Oh my luck with fish, rots. I recently lost my fish beloved Betta to a tumour, that when I caught, was just too late. I got a new Betta yesterday from my local pet store. He was just in a tiny not even half gallon bowl, he was lingering at the top of the water, so I though nothing of it, all the fish look miserable there. I loved him, so I took him home. I have a 10 gallon tank already set up with 4 Tetra's in it, filter and heater. With plants and decor, my Tetra's have been with me since they were babies about two months ago. Very energetic, happy healthy fish, and now all grown up (that didn't take long). But, my poor Betta Ginger won't stop floating, he'll swim around, but when he stops, he just floats to the top. He's very vibrant, no signs of fin rot, or any other diseases. I'm thinking SBD? I understand he is new, so he's hanging out behind my filter, but I'm worried about him. I know a tad about SBD, but not overly much. Any help? Here are some picture to help:

I feel like such a terrible fish owner.
I feel like taking him back in the chances he may go with someone that he won't get sick with. Just my luck.
