i currently have four fresh water perch in my tank and i would like any information on how i can keep them alive habitat feeding and how to keep the tank clean

i have a twenty gallon tank with some rocks and deer horns what i need is someone to tell me exactly what i need in my tank to help them be happy fish they are freshwater perch that my son caught while we were fishing i dont have a heater in the tank cause we were ice fishing

tank you very much the perch are about 5 inches well the biggest one is that long any way and i am only keeping them because my 5 year old caught them when we were ice fishing and when were came home there were four that were alive so i put them in my tank and he thinks that is so cool i am currently feeding them gold fish or as he calls them gold minnows cause we caught them with minnows i have a good filter and i will do a twenty five percent water exchange when needed thank you david godin
