Hi guys. I have 5 fairly large silver dollars (4"-6"). I've had them for almost two years now, I believe. Yesterday, one of them spent all day swimming at the top of the tank. The only time he swam away from the surface was at feeding time. He's not swimming sideways or anything, but today he is still at the top of the tank. Any idea what is wrong with him?? I am worried. My SD's, while skittish, have a lot of personality. And they're in the living room, so out of all my tanks, I see them the most. I'm pretty much with them all day.

This has been our most stable tank and it pains me to think their might be something wrong with one of the fish. I really don't want to lose a Silver Dollar.

I had a Black Skirt Tetra that had the same symptoms about a month ago. My LFS said it was swim bladder, and did not know the cause....
