Hy.
I got an overcrowded aquarium this month from a kid neighbor. He wasn't interested anymore. I'm trying to keep them alive until i get something bigger. Right now is like 30l with 12 fish. One died.
Light is 12h of day, 1plant, feed the once a day, 15-20 wather change at 3 days.
With 2 of them i have this problem. I can't figure out what it is. Thx in advance if you can help me.

Not 100% sure, Hard to see in the pictures but could be fungus or Ick. I'm thinking fungus where as in the second pic it looks like a bit of cotton on him. Hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge can help. I don't want to be wrong and have you hurt your fish further by medicating wrong.

Looks like a bit of fungus, I would just up the water changes to at least 50% and you could do as often as every other day but every three should be fine. shortening the photoperiod might help with the stress that is causing the fungus. Treatment should be a last result, the fish look otherwise healthy so may be able to fight off the disease on its own if given good water conditions.

def agree with gulo on water changes and less light time.... seeing the deterioration on the fins and the large body growth looks more like fungus than ick.. ive noticed ick tends to be more frequent in number of spots and they come and go as the life cycle goes on, that looks like a pretty large growth. 12 hours seems a bit over kill for light especially with an over crowded tank... cut it down to maybe 6 to reduce stress levels, i personally turn my lights off for 3-4 days days when issues pop up.... with the water changes have you been testing ammonia and nitrates? and have you been adding an chlorinator? are you gravel vaccing with the water changes?
