So, I have not seen my pleco in a few weeks and had assumed she was hiding in the dragon like last time. I had some algae buildup and bought myself a magnetic scrubber just to be safe.

However, my fiance went to move my dragon decoration last night and he said a bunch of goop or something slid out a long with my pleco's skeleton  . I cleaned up as best I could and am doing small water changes as often as I feel safe but now my water is all murky and cloudy. It's really bad. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to clear it up without stressing out my Oscar.

Thanks in advance.

Just keep doing what your doing. Not much else to do. Increase your filter flow to max, maybe replace the sponge or whatever you have that does the "mechanical" filtering (particles, not chemical)
Do a big water change to start -- 30% if you can.

Then 10% water change every 24 hours. Replacement water -- as long as its similar (ph and hardness-wise) to the tank water is going to be a lot better for the oscar than the polluted water. Inside of a week you should be pretty clear. Keep an eye on your ph, ammonia, nitrate/nitrite levels. Vacuum the gravel, too.

I've never had one, but have never heard that Oscars are terribly delicate. The alternative is to move the oscar to spare tank setup (like a hospital tank) until you get a handle on the main tank.

And block up the hole in the dragon ornament before getting anything else that would use it as a house.

Good Luck!

my oscar laughs at a 50% water change, just be sure to mix up the water and let it sit for 10 min before putting it back in. Pretty sure death water is worse than new fresh water......
