I am having difficulty identifying this fish. Which was sold to me as a Red Fin Barb.
Please any suggestions?

That is a red tailed rasbora aka brilliant rasbora. Very pretty.

I have looked at various sources and none resembled my example to 100% certainty.

The three I have are very energetic and pretty
