Hello, I'm a half-baked newbie. :-D We've had our latest fishtank, a 46 bow front, for around 12 years. My husband (hereafter referred to as DH, short for 'Dear Husband') has been its primary maintenance person. I want to learn more about live plants, mostly.
Plus I really really wish I could have a shrimp tank.
I want my own little tank that I would take care of by myself, with minimal help from DH. I'm investigating size, and plants, and whether shrimp are actually a good thing for me to try. If not I may try tiny fish. Or a betta- another fish I've never had before. It won't happen any time soon, but I'm researching starting now!
