Hey everyone,

My name is Jack, I am 23 years old and from the UK.

My mum and dad had a tank when I was around 13 and remember getting involved with the feeding but never got involved with all the "technical" stuff.
I recently decided to buy myself a tank for my bedroom. Its only 50ltr to start with while I get the hand of things. I currently have 4 Red Wagtail Platys and two beautiful Sailfin Molly's.

So if you have any suggestions on what fish would be good to go for next that would be great. I wouldn't mind a cherry shrimp but I don't think I have enough algae, also im not sure if the Sailfins will try to eat it :-?.

Hi and welcome to the forum. We're glad to have you!! I've never kept shrimp but I have been cautioned because most fish WILL eat them.

That's a 15 ish gallon right?

Hi and a very warm welcome from everyone here a TFK! I also would one day like a sail fin plecostomus, but the grow massive (18in+) and my 10cm bristle nose still managed to cover my 75g in waste within half an hour of cleaning, lol
