I am in the process of setting up my 20 gallon planted tank and I am waiting on my plants from sweet aquatics. I have heard that it could be 3 weeks before I get them. I was planning on doing the silent cycle. I would like to get ghost shrimp for my tank and I was wondering if they can survive in an uncycled aquarium? I'm sure they can't, but I just thought I'd ask. I have a large peice of driftwood, a few fake plants and some rocks in my tank. It just needs to be cycled.

Highly unlikely. I would also recommend you look into cherry shrimp instead. There are several species of ghost shrimp, most are brackish.
