Tomorrow I will be getting a new tank for my 2 goldfish because they are outgrowing the 10 gallon I have for them. I was thinking about a 40, 50, 55 or even 60 gallon tank. I want to be able to put maybe one or two more goldfish in my tank. Any suggestions?

if you want to add more,get the 55 or 60.this is assuming that these are fancies like in your avatar pic.i would go for the 60 though.

I agree 60gal and heavy on the filtration. I'd go with 2 x gal capacity filter and two extra large sponges.

Stick to fancy goldfish, no coments

I got a 56 gallon with a 400 GPH Filter. I plan to put 3-4 fancy goldfish in there.

That won't be enough filtration for four fancy goldfish. 8-10x your tank volume an hour is recommended for goldfish. You should look into a sunsun canister.

Only problem is those are really expensive.

I'm aiming for less than 75 dollars, can I do that? Also I want a 450-600 GPH filter, can you send me a link or something to where I can get one?

You could run your current filters with a SunSun HW-303 and be fine. They run $80 on ebay I'm sure they can be found a tad cheaper.
