German Blue Ram hardiness vs Apisto vs Kribs

For the 2nd time this month I have lost a German Blue Ram. I don't think I will be getting another Ram from the German Blue morph (Golds, electrics, Balloons) family, again. I do want to keep enjoying the beautiful family of cichlidae, so how do other dwarfs such as, Apistos, Kribs and Bolivians stand in hardiness? Thanks!

Wow, thanks guys! Do any of you know about Flag Cichlids? Are they community compatible? Also, I would love some more recommendations for some hardy, community cichlids!

How would a convict be with the fish I have? They seem to be a very hardy, good- sized beginner cichlid! Would love to have one!

Dang it! So close to finding a fit for my aquarium! Oh well. How would a Firemouth do in my tank? Also, do you know anything about Lab cichlids?

I have Female Guppies, Female Bettas, Mollies, Harlequin Rasboras and a Dwarf Gourami.
Are Bolivians rare? I've only seen them at my local Petsmart and Petco once. My Petco almost always has a different coloration of the German Blue morph every week!

My fish stores are weird... I can get German Blues, Electric Blues, Balloon, Apistos and Kribs almost whenever I want to! I haven't seen a Bolivian Ram in either of my Petstores in a couple of years now! Also, Kribs are super cheap at my Petco!

Haha, guess so! My Petco has various fish, with pretty decent care. My Petsmart has more common fish, but with EXCELLENT care!

Wow, that is a beautiful tank you have there, with beautiful fish! If I got GBR's again I feel like I'd get a couple of them, and go home to find out they're both males! They're very beautiful, but their lifespans and special care needed kind of stress me out! I would love to get a Krib pair, though! Can someone tell and show me all the different types of colors they come in? Thanks!

Wow, if that's what the average Krib looks like, I'd love a pair! I also love the Triple Red Apisto! 2 great possibilities, can't wait to decide, but for now I have to wait until Petco gets their next shipment Friday. Thanks for the help fellow fish lovers!
