Two Items

1) IMHO the symptoms which you are observing are not Ich.

2a) Dose with Melafix as indicated on the directions.

2b) I you have activated carbon in you filtration process remove it before dosing with Melafix.

External problems.

If the Melafix does not improve the condition in two days other folks will need to provide input as to other potential remedies.

No I do not unfortunately.

I had an angel get stuck in a rock hole and in extricating him he lost some scales, fins and skin.

Some gurus said to try Melafix before trying anything else which I did.

A few eruptions appeared on his skin but went away in several days and he completely healed in about two weeks (I dosed with Melafix for one week).

(BTW this is the only medication which I have used in my one year of fish keeping so I am of no help beyond this point).
