I always had a betta fishing with my regular fish and it always got along and then later I put a female in there they were all just fine

He use to be aggressive, now he's pretty friendly to the rest of fish... alot of space to work with aswell... they all eat flakes and he eats pillets so theres no competition for food... pretty cool right...
