A few years ago, one of my co-workers was trying to unload her Endlers. I haven't had fish tanks set up but did have trays with water for my carnivorous plants. So I put what she gave me in a tray. They actually did fine in there, in spite of no accessories. When I tried to do them a favor by putting them in a 10 gallon tank, outside, that summer, they died. Those were pictures I took from the tray.
