I seem to have bubbles or foam in my 12 gallon tank. I am hesitant to call it foam, it looks more like a bunch of tiny bubbles, but it guess that could be the beginning of foam. It's hanging on to the top edges of the water, and the top edge of the filter parts that hang in the aquarium. Where the water is running into the tank from the filter is ok, obviously because of the constant flow.
I have an eclipse tank (bio-wheel). I did some research and everything said if you have foam/bubbles it's indicative of problem water. I tested and everything is good- amm=0 nitrite=0 nitrate<5. I do have a very minor issue with algae on the rock and artificial plants. I added my real plant back in 2 days ago, before the bubbles appeared, just to help with the algae.
The only other things that changed was that I thoroughly cleaned the impeller so that the bio-wheel is really moving. I also changed food, from Tetra brand to Omega One (someone gave me a jar).
Any suggestions or ideas? Thank you
