Hi i have american cichlids my white oscar started with white spots on her petroal fins they are of difference size spots she as had them for a while now i have treated for white spot with waterlife protozin for 7 days but it made no difference at all. I all so noticed some of my other fish have got them on there petroal fins to i have also tried using waterlife myxazin fin rot & bacteria in case it was bacteria but still no joy with it. Can any one plz advise me how to cure them

If you''re sure it's ich, raise the temperature to around 86 for several days. Also, use an ich specific medication. It''s always a good idea to do a large partial water change before treating just to improve water quality. Ich is always present and it's usually a break down in conditions that causes it to infect the fish.

Are the spots fuzzy/cottony looking or are they more flush to the skin and small like grains of sand/salt stuck all over thefish?
Photos of the fish that show the spots in question would be helpful.

They are large and small spots they look raised couple of fish have one or two spots the white oscar has quite a few but they are all on the pectoral fins and no were else on the fish at all. How do I put pics on as cant seem to do it
